These days I feel really blessed. I was thinking about this while I was riding my bike tonight. I'm able bodied, I am able to enjoy my time going for a walk or go for a bike ride. I get to do what I love for a living and I have a lot of opportunities open to me. I have someone I can think about before I go to bed at night. My family is healthy and I have a fat little cat to take naps with. Thank you for some of the best days of my life.

Work Ethic

I can't seem to get more then one thing done a day. Granted that one thing I do is usually really good. But I can't switch my mind to another project, I did that while I was working full time but I find it hard while working independently. I think it's because I like to mentally prepare myself for a project the day before, so after I finish whatever I was working on that day I can't work on the next thing knowing that I did not mentally prepare myself.

I have a new plan I'm going to try out tomorrow. I'm going to start an evening work schedule where I start work at around 9 or 10. Let see how that's going to work out.

Freedom

Alright, I got myself some free time. Well I have my first week planned out with stuff I have to take care of, that'll spill into the next week but after that it should I should be free. Free to do my own personal projects, whatever that might be. Freedom to do whatever you want is sometimes harder then not having freedom. Well lets see how things work out.

Reset

Looks like for the third time in my life I will be taking a break from the 9 to 5. This time it wasn't something that I had planned. The faster you go up the faster you fall down. I'm not sure what my future is going to be like. Right now, I have some time to think about what I need to do going forward. I actually know, I always knew, I just have the time to work towards it now.

Dance with the devil again? Looks like I have to break the cycle, I can't always justify a good paycheck for a non inspiring job. Dance with the devil, maybe, no, maybe, no, guess we'll see.

Reason to Wake Up

It's crazy how a small glimmer of hope can give a person motivation, sometimes the fantasy of of what this glimmer is will make you happy, makes you wake up in the morning, gives you purpose. Find that small shard of hope, dangle it in front of your eyes and maybe you can grow it into something amazing.

Wake Up

I took some time off and went away on vacation this past week. It's always so nice to get away from everything. I gained a lot of perspective while I was gone. I was relaxed I spent a good deal of time reflecting on where I am at, where I want to be, how I am feeling at the moment. I was read this really good book on graphic design. I feel way more refreshed from the last little while.

I got new plans, time to get on the grind.
